Whether you have never dived before or you are a certified diver…
As Murat Paşa Konağı, in accordance with the agreement made with Dalyan Dive Center, if we can provide a sufficient majority of our guests, the first diving experience and equipment familiarization training is carried out in our hotel’s pool and diving training can be started at sea the next day.
Here are some of the diving routes;
Novice Bay:Identified as an ideal diving area for beginners, Ekincik Bay is perfect for exploring Scuba diving. In this bay, which is shallow and clear enough, it is possible to see a wide variety of soldier fish, sunfish, parrot fish, sea bream, octopus and barracudas that visit the area from time to time.
Leaving the pebbly beach, we gradually descend to a depth of 3 – 5 meters towards places where amphora ruins, fish hiding in the rocks are found, tube worms grow and we can play with sunfish.
Experienced divers can dive past the sea grass to depths of around 25 meters where various species of grouper are caught.
Vatoz Bay:Just beyond Ekincik, there is a bay as beautiful as an aquarium. The boat is anchored in a shallow and clear area right near the shore. In this region, there is a field of sea grass at a depth of about 5 meters. Behind the sea grass begin the cliffs of the mountains surrounding the bay, extending all the way down to the sea.
On these slopes, you can see amphorae, sponges growing on the rocks, many sea cucumbers, sea urchins and various fish, as well as stingrays hiding under the sand waiting for their prey around the corner where the slope turns into large steps. The slope continues up to 45 meters, so it can easily be continued to the level of experienced divers.
Cave:When we turn right towards Ekincik as soon as possible, the entrance of the cave, which is around 8 meters deep, is reached in a short time. The entrance is quite large so that even less experienced divers can discover what it is like to enter an underwater cave.
Behind the first cave there is another cave with a much smaller entrance, suitable only for experienced divers. The second cave has an opening that lets light into it, and the play of light on the water creates the effect of disco lights.
After leaving the cave, when we descend 20-30 meters down, we will find a large rock and you can see amphorae, sponges of various colors, tube worms, sea cucumbers, spiral seashells, starfish, large and small fish, octopuses and lobsters.
Wreck: The boat is anchored close to the wreck. The wreck is an old schooner roughly 40 meters long that sank 11 years ago after colliding with the top of an underwater mountain, rising from the bottom to 1 meter below the surface of the water.
The rock is a shallow reef in the open sea where thousands of fish, sea urchins and starfish live and give birth. The abundance of small fish is attractive to larger predatory fish that will prey on them.
The wreck of the Wolf lies between 7 and 14 meters, but we can see more ruins and items. If you look closely, you can see the old ruins buried under the new wreck.
Summit:The dive site is right next to the novice bay and normally we start diving from the north and towards the beginning of the novice bay. Peak; It is an underwater mountain that starts at a depth of 40 meters and rises up to 2 meters above the water surface.
Coming from the north, we first pass a large sea grass, where you can see creatures hiding from predatory fish, such as snappers and groupers. It is sometimes possible to see seahorses, cousins of the pipefish.
As we move west, we see many large rocks at a depth of 15 – 30 meters, where tube worms and sponges live. From here, we start swimming towards the beginner bay, where we will see more groupers.
Bozburun:We anchor our boat to the shore in the shallow bay known as Bozburun, the maximum depth of this place is around 16 meters. This bay, where we will see many strangely shaped rocks, is in the shape of an arc. These, just like sandstones, have been eroded by the sea for years and form mushroom-shaped rocks and inside them. They are in the form of rocks with large holes.
In this bay, we can see a wide variety of fish, groupers, soldier fish, octopuses and other creatures living in the holes and cavities around.
As we move offshore, the depth increases to 35 meters until we reach the cliff, a wall here gives the opportunity to dive 20 meters further straight down! You may feel like you are flying here, even the fish swim vertically. We can see all the beautiful colors of sponges and plants on the wall.
Aşı Bay:Whoever said you need a boat to go diving, we can prove them wrong! Vaccine Bay is one of the best diving areas in the region. However, if we had gone from Dalyan by boat, it would have taken 2 hours, but with our minibus it only takes 40 minutes.
There is a small island in the middle of a very remote and idyllic bay, where you can see groupers, small kingfish coming to clean, moray eels and sometimes even catfish. There are also beautiful ruins and historical amphoras from Turkey’s ancient history.
There are 4 caves following each other on the right side of the bay, one of them is in the form of a tunnel, the play of the light on the road with the sea water makes this diving area unforgettable, and if you think you need coral to see color under water, take a look at the wonderful sponges of all colors in and around the cave. look at.
Delik Ada: This diving area, within swimming distance of Iztuzu beach, offers you the best opportunity to see Caretta caretta turtles.
Little Devil:Little Devil is one of the most interesting typical dive sites where we can dive up to 35 – 40 meters.
